We've upgraded a test system to BCM rel 5. We seem to be suffering two problems with that:-

We get regular router not found alarms we then deployed SU-001 and the problem got much worse - in that the alarms were received much more frequently.

Also we find the BCM 50 can't contact an NTP server yet it can ping the NTP server it reports that it's can;t contact it.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I don't have a means to directly log cases with Nortel for this, and as this is a test system it's not on a maintenance contract.

I'm holding off any more Release 5 upgrades at the moment.

Has anyone else had simialr issues?
